Ivan Smith Furniture - New Lane recliner broke after 2 months.
I bought a new Lane recliner for $450. After sitting in it less than 2 months, the frame broke.
Ivan Smith Furniture would not warranty the recliner and charged me $70 to fix it. I wish I had spent my hard earned money on a LazBoy and purchased it from a company who appreciates their customer and stands behind their products. I had to drive over 100 miles roundtrip to take the chair to be fixed then pick it up after paying to have it repaired.
The manager was also very rude about the whole situation. The cost of the recliner, plus the gas and time to take it for repair, and the cost of the repair totaled over $700.
Monetary Loss: $700.
Location: Bastrop, Louisiana

This sounds a little strange to me because most furniture has a 1 year manufacturer warranty. It's hard to believe you only had it 2 months and had to pay for a repair...
